  • Topped the University in the MSc (Microbiology) final examination conducted by Kannur University in 2005.
  • Edward Jenner Poster Award (2nd Place) for a poster based on PhD thesis work, presented at the 5th Vaccine & ISV Annual Global Congress at Philadelphia, USA in 2011.
  • Recipient of a Young Scientist Startup Grant from the Science and Engineering Research Board (Department of Science & Technology) in 2015
  • Received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Hon. Director General, ICMR, for the assistance provided in coordinating the point-of-care testing services for Nipah infection established at Govt. Medical College, Kalamassery, Kerala, during 2019.
