The Cryo TEM is the core facility that provides high end, high-resolution TEM application use in areas of virus morphodiagnosis, biological sciences, macromolecular imaging and 3D reconstruction with inbuilt cellular tomography platforms. Specimen processing techniques for negative staining, ultramicrotomy, and cryo specimen preparations are operation. Separate image analysis computation clusters and tele microscopy link systems are embedded.
